OBJECTIVE

We are currently seeking an experienced, reliable and self-motivated technician with strong people skills and a willingness to travel. Service technicians provide both field (customer site) and in-house technical service to our customers. The qualified applicant must be detail-oriented and capable of working independently as well as part of a team. The job will require mastering complex, custom machinery; therefore, an ability to learn quickly and an openness to new training, knowledge and skills are necessary. Previous industry experience is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide field technical service and maintain goodwill of the customers. Provide customer feedback to the Engineering and Manufacturing upon completion of the field service. Suggest recommendations for changes based on customer feedback and trouble

• shooting.

Work with Manufacturing regarding the repair of parts or assemblies returned by the customers Prepare reports and/or sketches as required after customer visits or contacts. Conduct and supervise trial runs on finished machines. Approve for shipment Debug new and/or specialized equipment, electrical systems and sub-assemblies and submit technical reports and recommendations on performance. Advise the Customer/Technical Service Manager of any unusual problems affecting customer service, cost or quality. Perform other duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma plus an associate's degree in engineering technology or the equivalent in specialized, related training. Minimum 5+ years of field service experience servicing capital equipment. Experience with electro/mechanical machine assembly in a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings/blueprints. A working knowledge of PLCs and related software, electronic controllers, instrumentation and electronic circuitry. Ability to travel approximately 60% of the time to service domestic and international customers. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Our technicians must be strong team players. The job requires frequent collaboration with immediate coworkers/service technicians as well as other departments, especially assembly, engineering and customer service. Technicians must also be capable of parts sales support and interacting with customers in a way that promotes Cozzoli sales while mutually benefitting the company and the customer.
