Electrical/Electronics Engineer

An electronics engineer at Magtrol is responsible for the design, development, support, and documentation of Magtrol PID controllers, display units, power analyzers, power supplies, and other electronic devices. Sought is a degreed engineer with applicable experience, ideally in controls instrumentation, and with a solid understanding of analog electronics. We are seeking a technical person who loves electronics, and who will thrive in a self-directed, small-team environment

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

Hardware design focused on analog and power electronics Circuit design, analysis, and simulation PCB design and layout Assist Production when problems arise

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with LTSpice Experience with Altium Designer Familiarity with IEC standards Familiarity with digital electronics (ADCs, DACs, etc.) microcontrollers Some experience with coding, preferably C Some prior work experience in electronics preferred Magtrol offers an attractive compensation package in addition to a comprehensive benefits program including health insurance, 401(k) plan with matching, paid vacation, sick & personal time, education reimbursement, disability insurance, life insurance.
