Roles & Responsibilities Job Responsibilities:
Assist Project Manager with project tasks as assigned. Collaborate with Project Managers to determine project requirements and specifications for audio visual systems. Design and develop audio visual system schematics, floor plans, and wiring diagrams. To be fully involved and oversee installation of audio visual systems, including equipment placement, cabling and integration with other systems. Assist with procurement of project materials. Update technical documentation. Provide weekly job progress reports to all internal and external stakeholders. Ensure that all audio visual systems meet industry standards and project requirements. Verify quality of work performed by internal resource and subcontractors. Test and troubleshoot audio visual systems to identify and resolve any issues. Continually develop the process of System commissioning and handover and implement that process across all project sites. Excellent / Accurate interpretation of any provided technical documentation to ensure on-site installation works are carried out correctly and accurately. To ensure the termination and connection of all cabling and equipment is carried out to the highest standard, labelled and installed neatly in accordance with the standards. Follow-up directly on any issues or technical queries with manufacturers. Provide technical support to clients, including training on system operation and maintenance. Create and maintain project documentation, including system manuals, as-built drawings and testing reports. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies and best practices for audio visual system design and installation. To provide feedback in the form of project completion reports or lessons learnt debriefing sessions.
Job Requirements:
Must possess Electrical Engineering, Audio Engineering or related education background. Minimum 3 years' experience as a Project Engineer or Coordinator in the industry or related field. Minimum 1 years' experience in audio visual system design, installation, and maintenance preferred. Knowledge of audio visual system components, including video projectors, sound systems, LED walls, and control systems. Software knowledge of Microsoft Office is a must. Familiarity with CAD design software, such as AutoCAD, BRICSCAD and SketchUp. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Willingness to travel to project sites. Possession of safety certificate preferred (eg. WSQ Supervise Construction Works for WSH, Apply WSH in Construction Sites) Possession of a Class 3 driving licence (Manual) will be added advantage. Team player and can work independently. Drive to exceed expectations and deliver excellence. On-the-job training will be provided.
