Full Job Description Position Description:
IVCI is a leader in the Audio Visual Integration industry. We provide solutions to corporate, educational, and government markets across the US and the world. Our services aim at achieving client goals by focusing on the desired end user experience. As a leader in the industry, we constantly adapt to new technologies and are looking for qualified individuals to join our growing team to support our efforts. The Project Supervisor manages all aspects of AV quality control throughout the life cycle of a project.
Job Duties:
Perform all software / firmware configuration uploads and checks to ensure the system performs to both the manufacturer's specifications and IVCi Perform full system calibrations for audio and video on installed systems Perform full control system test out with programming support for installed control systems Perform a full quality control check for all installation efforts including but not limited to AV best practices and IVCi company standards Complete system test and accept / certifications / commissioning for installed solutions both remotely and onsite at client's premises Provide end user training and support for deployments Provide clear and concise documentation on any configurations implemented or needed for successful implementation (i.e. network configurations, video settings, DSP settings, etc.) Complete / approve any red line updates on system drawings for any changes required during the fabrication, installation, and quality control steps Attend internal/external project kick off meetings where applicable Perform site readiness assessments prior to installation and submit those reports for review Submit installation schedules and work plans that adhere to client schedules Perform onsite assessments of technician's skillsets to ensure that the proper resource is allocated to the project Provide detailed progress reports to management daily Manage multiple teams made up of both IVCi and subcontracted technicians to ensure the quality of installation meets AV best practices and IVCi company standards Manage communications between onsite teams to IVCi and subcontractor management Support all types of technical escalations from the field team and work with other team members on resolutions as needed Attend trainings to maintain expert level knowledge in AV technologies and methodologies Travel to client sites and other IVCI offices required Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Expert knowledge of Industry and standards in AV systems design and integration Must have excellent communication skills and possess excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to perform advanced troubleshooting on any device Be a team leader and possess excellent leadership qualities Expert knowledge of audio principles and must have the ability to write and fine tune audio programs for Biamp, QSC, Clear One, and Polycom Expert knowledge of loading and troubleshooting AMX, Crestron, and Extron systems Must be well versed in interacting with networks (wired or wireless) and must be able to support networked solutions for video conferencing, VOIP audio conferencing, and control system networking
Desired Qualifications:
CTS and / or CTS-I/D certification DMC_E Certification Any formal training from Biamp, Clear One, Polycom, QSC, Crestron Cisco, Polycom Telepresence installation experience / certification SynAudCon Training 5 years or more of related industry experience IVCi is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
