Duties Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs on elevators and escalators to ensure optimal performance. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues. Diagnose problems related to hydraulics, electrical systems, mechanical components, and control systems with precision. Conduct field service visits to client sites, providing expert solutions while maintaining a professional customer-focused approach. Replace worn or faulty parts, adjust system components, and test equipment to meet safety standards and operational specifications. Document all service activities thoroughly in maintenance logs and reports for compliance and future reference. Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance procedures, safety protocols, and operational efficiency. Experience Proven experience in industrial maintenance or field service roles specializing in elevators or escalators. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience working with hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical components. Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately to facilitate troubleshooting and repairs. Background in industrial mechanic work or elevator/escalator technician training is highly preferred. Customer service skills that enable clear communication with clients while providing professional support during service visits. Experience working with electrical systems, hydraulic mechanisms, or industrial machinery is essential. Knowledge of safety standards related to elevator/escalator maintenance and general industrial environments.
