Full-Time Job Description:
Perform a variety of complex technical field assignments involving the installation, inspection, modification, testing or troubleshooting of air pollution control products and equipment such as wet & dry ESP's, fabric filters, scrubbers, etc. Provide assistance to customers in choosing appropriate B&W products for performance improvement when applicable. Perform field service operations that may involve testing and verification of equipment and unusual problems requiring strong technical skills. Ability to write detailed reports of problems encountered, tests performed and work completed. Assist in planning and coordinating team efforts. Support Sales efforts, including assisting in presentations when needed. Spanish language proficiency a plus. Often work non-standard schedules at field locations with exposure to varying environmental conditions. Ability to work independently to accomplish task and effectively manage time to coordinate multiple jobs. Troubleshoot and repair equipment, applying own knowledge and experience to resolve problems. Must be adaptable to a changing work environment and able to cope with delays or unexpected events. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field or 4 to 6 years of experience in an industrial setting. Solid electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Spanish language proficiency a plus Position comes with opportunities to advance into engineering, project management and other roles at B&W. Initiative Planning and organizing Customer Focus Willingness to travel on assignments up to 70% on average each month.
