Job Description

Sayres is seeking Electrical/Electronics Engineer III with ability to obtain secret clearance in in Philadelphia PA. This is a significant engineering and technical support effort tied to the Navy's propulsion, power generation, and ship systems testing infrastructure located at the Philadelphia Navy Yard. The contract supports some of the Navy's most critical land-based test facilities before technologies are installed aboard ships. Position Summary (Contingent) Position Summary The Electrical/Electronics Engineer III supports the design, development, integration, and testing of electrical and electronic systems, equipment, and controls. Responsibilities Design and analyze electrical and electronic systems. Develop engineering calculations and technical documentation. Support equipment testing, troubleshooting, and validation. Evaluate motor control systems and machinery controls. Review drawings and technical specifications. Support system integration and field testing activities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering. Minimum 5 years of electrical/electronics engineering experience. Minimum 2 years working with electrical motors and machinery controls.
