This position is for on-site support at Wright-Patterson AFB (WPAFB) .
HOW WILL THIS POSITION CONTRIBUTE?
Mission:
Using systems engineering best practices and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methods, design, develop, test, and document advanced Electronic Warfare (EW) and Radar sensor technologies.
How:
Using industry best practices, assess and refine system requirements, perform trade studies, create system-level designs, design and implement tests, develop interfaces, and maintain reference architectures.
WHAT SKILLS ARE NEEDED?
Required:
Experience in one or more of the following: model-based systems engineering (MBSE) to include SysML and DoDAF standards, mission-level modeling and simulation tools, high-fidelity RF modeling and simulation tools, digital signal processing (DSP), EW system design and signal processing, radar system design, measurements, and signal processing. Familiarity with MBSE Tools Cameo, Sparx Enterprise Architect, and/or Visual Paradigm Familiarity with programming: a systems language (such as C and C++) and/or a high-level language (such as Julia, Python, MATLAB), and willingness to learn from others. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science, or a related technical field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Applicants must be US citizens capable of obtaining and maintaining a US DoD security clearance.
Desired or Will Train:
At least five years of professional Systems Engineering experience Familiarity with MATLAB, algorithm development, and algorithm evaluation An active security clearance
