Yet, market adoption remains limited due to complex customer needs. Our mission at LexxPluss is to bridge this gap by designing and delivering custom autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) and their accessories to integrate seamlessly with existing IoT infrastructure. Our robots operate safely alongside workers and enhance productivity and efficiency across various industries. We are committed to transforming business operations with advanced, reliable, and intelligent robotic solutions, and support our customers in their efforts toward the Industry 4.0. ■Position Overview We are seeking a Robotic Electrical and Electronic Development Engineer. You will be one of the engineers responsible for the electrical and electronic circuit design within LexxPluss products, handling everything from requirements capture to mass-production documentation. Your primary focus will be the development of custom PCBs and wire harnesses that interface with sensors, motors, and control systems. ■Key Responsibilities
Circuit and PCB Development:
Design, prototype, review, and test custom circuit boards (PCBA) for sensor interfacing, power distribution, and signal processing. You will take ownership of the board layout, component selection, and hardware debugging. Harness design: Design and evaluate robust wire harnesses that bridge custom PCBs with other electronic modules, ensuring reliable communication across the entire robotic system. Operational considerations: Select and validate electronic components by considering the operational environment from thermal, noise, and vibration standpoints, ensuring part reliability.
Regulatory & Safety Compliance:
Implement hardware-level designs that meet international safety standards (for example, ISO 3691-4, ISO 26262, UL) and domestic legal requirements (Electrical Appliance and Material Safety Act, Radio Law).
Technical Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software engineers, QA/QC engineers and manufacturing teams, to deliver integrated robotic solutions.
Documentation:
Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings, gerber data, specifications, and reports to support the design and manufacturing process.
Hardware Procurement:
Deal with manufactures both in Japan and abroad for procurement of PCBs, harness assemblies, and other parts.
Prototyping & Defect Analysis:
Perform iterative prototyping and conduct root-cause analysis on hardware failures, planning and executing design improvements for mass production.
Field & Supplier Support:
Occasional travel to customer sites for hardware failure investigations, deployment support, or supplier meetings. (
Flexible Scope:
While your core focus is electrical engineering, our lean team structure allows you to contribute to mechanical design, embedded software, or mass-production line launches depending on your personal experience and project needs.) ■Why Join LexxPluss?
Decision-Making:
Develop and execute plans, selecting appropriate technologies. You will be responsible for explaining your choices and accountable for the outcomes.
