This role is hybrid in Hopewell Junction, NY, starting each day onsite before traveling to client locations.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Field Technician will support a small service team by troubleshooting and repairing specialized mechanical and electrical equipment. This position offers hands-on technical work, daily variety, and a structured training program to develop expertise in proprietary equipment. The ideal professional is mechanically inclined, service-oriented, and excited to grow within a supportive team environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain specialized mechanical/electrical equipment at client sites. Begin each workday at the office before traveling to assigned service locations. Provide professional and friendly customer service while representing the company onsite. Document service work accurately using basic computer skills. Collaborate with the Service Manager and team to ensure efficient, high-quality service. Support overall team workload as the organization continues to grow.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience troubleshooting or repairing HVAC, biomedical, mechanical, electrical, or similar equipment. Comfort using a computer for documentation and communication. Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn highly specialized equipment. Effective problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer-service abilities.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position offers a competitive salary of $60,000-$65,000, plus a full benefits package, structured training, and long-term growth within a tight-knit and expanding service team.
