  • Travel required Where you'll work Primary service territory: Tennessee, Arkansas, and Mississippi.
Occasional support to adjacent states as needed.
Best fit location:
near Memphis, TN. What you'll do Execute preventive maintenance, repair calls, and corrective actions on analytical and metallographic equipment. Install new instruments; implement firmware/software updates and hardware upgrade kits. Provide customer training on operating theory, software workflows, and care/maintenance. Work to LECO's ISO-accredited procedures, documentation, and quality standards. Represent LECO professionally and build trusted customer relationships. Travel rhythm Most days spent at customer sites. Up to four overnight hotel stays per week (Mon-Fri). Additional travel on an as-needed basis. Training pathway 3-5 months of formal instrumentation training at LECO in St. Joseph, MI. Field service mentorship alongside experienced LECO engineers nationwide. Annual service training at headquarters for ongoing development. Qualifications Proactive communicator (verbal and written) with strong organizational habits. Professional, safety-minded approach aligned to customer site policies. Mechanical aptitude and exposure to AC/DC electronics—or the drive to learn quickly. Valid driver's license; clean driving record. Personal credit card or ability to obtain one for travel expenses. Chemistry knowledge or military technical experience is beneficial, not mandatory. Education Two-year technical degree or trade school, or Military technical training, or Equivalent technical experience. Bonus $5,000 signing bonus included.
