Job Description

As Technical Service Supervisor , you will play a key role in managing field service operations for automation systems and controls integration, including machine vision applications in the food industry. This position is responsible for scheduling service visits, ensuring accurate service reporting, overseeing spare parts coordination, and supervising a team of field service technicians. The role requires a strong technical background and the ability to work closely with customers, technicians, engineering, and procurement teams to improve service efficiency, response time, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Schedule and oversee field service activities to ensure timely and effective customer support. Supervise, train, and mentor field service technicians. Coordinate spare parts inventory needs with procurement and fulfillment to support service readiness and appropriate stock levels. Ensure compliance with safety requirements and maintain accurate field service documentation. Coordinate with customers and internal teams to improve service performance, communication, and issue resolution. Review service reports, technician feedback, and customer concerns to identify recurring issues and improvement opportunities. Support planning for preventive maintenance visits, emergency service calls, installations, and warranty-related service work. Help maintain technician accountability for job completion, documentation, travel time, and professional customer interaction.
Pay:
$85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
