Centrifugal Compressor Specialist Caliberr Staffing Dallas, TX 75237 $33.25 - $55.00 an hour - Full-time $33.25 - $55.00 an hour - Full-time About the Role We are seeking a skilled technician to ensure the optimal performance of centrifugal compressor systems. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in electrical systems and mechanical troubleshooting to resolve complex issues, contributing directly to our customers' operational efficiency. Your proficiency in using precision measuring tools and interpreting electrical schematics will be essential for success. Responsibilities Deliver expert technical support during the pre-commissioning, startup, and installation phases of compressed air systems, ensuring seamless operation to meet customer specifications. Diagnose and resolve intricate technical challenges by interpreting wiring schematics and diagrams, implementing effective solutions to maintain system integrity. Maintain detailed records of service and installation activities, including completing work orders, maintenance checklists, and accurate daily time sheets. Cultivate strong customer relationships by offering insights into improved methods and recommending system enhancements, promoting the value of our products and services. Ensure the safe operation of compressed air equipment by conducting thorough preventative maintenance and comprehensive inspections, adhering to safety protocols in diverse work environments. Collaborate with service coordinators and operations teams to efficiently order and gather necessary parts and supplies for installations and repairs. Perform basic vibration and air quality troubleshooting to optimize system performance and identify potential issues. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to work in various conditions, including mechanical equipment rooms and outdoor environments. Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, stooping, and kneeling, in accordance with safety policies. Preferred Skills 3-5 years of experience with centrifugal compressors. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and handheld devices. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on customer service and conflict resolution. Experience with creating preventative maintenance plans. Knowledge of heavy equipment repair and mechanical troubleshooting. Familiarity with industrial electrical systems and components.
