Available Help for . Yokogawa Corporation of America seeks Advanced Solutions Consultant in Sugar Land, TX. Develops and communicates electronics and instrumentation system architectures and deployment strategies for digital transformation and smart manufacturing, analyzing customer technical requirements and defining specifications for sensing, control, communication, and data acquisition. Collaborates with cross functional engineering teams to define requirements for IIoT devices, smart sensors, field instrumentation, and embedded platforms, and identifies, evaluates, and selects industrial electronic and instrumentation components for integration with proprietary control, information, and operations management systems. Analyzes hardware specifications, signal characteristics, interfaces, and industrial communication protocols to ensure compatibility and reliable operation within OT/IT architectures, and designs and configures system level integration with PLC/DCS/SCADA, advanced solutions, and industrial network platforms. Leads or supports test bed testing, validation, and troubleshooting of integrated systems before deployment across OT, IT, and telecom layers, and develops and documents system architectures, wiring and interface diagrams, hardware configurations, and integration guidelines to support validation and deployment. Provides technical justification for integrated solutions using process data, performance studies, and engineering inputs to ROI analyses, while maintaining current awareness of industrial electronics, instrumentation, and IIoT technologies to refine advanced solution designs and architectures. Captures and documents engineering knowledge, reference designs, and best practices for advanced solutions, and develops and delivers technical training to customer and internal engineering personnel on advanced solutions, digital transformation, and smart manufacturing/Industry 4.0 applications. Applies systems, solutions, and process engineering knowledge to define and develop automation strategies, including sensor based instrumentation and advanced solutions for smart manufacturing, and provides engineering input to project planning on scope, estimates, deliverables, and resource needs. Serves as primary technical point of contact for assigned projects, leading technical discussions, design reviews, issue resolution, and negotiation and documentation of technical scope changes and change orders to keep solution designs feasible and aligned with project constraints. Ensures advanced solutions comply with contractual technical requirements, applicable codes and standards, and internal engineering, quality, and governance policies, applies Action Selling 7.0 in a consultative, engineering driven framework to communicate technical value, and performs other related duties in support of advanced solutions and smart manufacturing projects. Requires a Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering or a closely related engineering, or foreign equivalent. Requires 5 years of experience in a related occupation with progressive experience in electronics engineering or process solutions engineering field.
