Senior Audio Visual & Smart Home Engineer Kent | London & Home Counties £50,000 - £60,000 + Company Vehicle | Career Progression Diamond Search Recruitment are delighted to be representing an incredible business in the search for an exceptional Senior Audio Visual & Smart Home Engineer. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a highly respected specialist delivering bespoke, award‑winning residential automation projects across London and the Home Counties. The Opportunity You will take technical ownership of high‑value residential AV, automation and networking installations, leading projects from first fix through to final commissioning and client handover. Operating as a senior member of the delivery team, you'll set installation standards, mentor junior engineers and ensure every system is delivered with absolute precision — technically, visually and operationally. Key Responsibilities Install, configure and commission Crestron, Control4, Lutron, Rako, Cisco and Ruckus systems to an exceptional standard Deliver complex multi‑room audio, home cinema, lighting control and automation solutions Interpret technical drawings and schematics into flawless on‑site installations Lead system testing, demonstrations and client handovers with professionalism and confidence Support and mentor junior engineers to uphold quality and consistency Represent the business on‑site with a calm, polished and solutions‑focused approach About You Proven experience in high‑end residential AV / smart home integration Strong hands‑on expertise with Crestron, Control4 and Lutron (programming and commissioning) Excellent understanding of network infrastructure and system connectivity Highly detail‑driven engineer with pride in workmanship and presentation Confident communicator with clients, contractors and design professionals Organised, reliable and composed in demanding environments Full UK driving licence Ideally Kent based What's on Offer £50,000 - £60,000 (dependent on experience) Company vehicle, fuel card, laptop and tools Pension scheme 25 days' holiday + bank holidays Ongoing training and manufacturer certification Clear progression to Lead Engineer or Project Manager Prestige residential projects without daily London commuting Why Apply?
