Overview:
ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. This Electronics Engineer 1 will support electrical and communications engineering projects by collaborating with engineers and stakeholders to develop, review, and implement technical designs and solutions. This role will prepare electrical drawings, calculations, specifications, and technical reports using computer assisted engineering tools. This engineer will assist with construction, installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and inspection to ensure compliance with design, safety, and operational standards. This position requires knowledge of electrical engineering principles, communications and control systems (including SCADA), and the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation. This full-time position is located in Vancouver, WA.
Pay Rate:
$34.94

        • Confer with engineers, internal customers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering projects.
        • Assist in planning and implementing research methodology and procedures to apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects.
        • Prepare/draft specifications for Contracting Officers' (COs') use in the purchase of materials and equipment.
        • Assist with design, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of electronic / electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems.
        • Operate computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
        • Create electrical drawings, reports, and calculations to support recommended engineering solutions for electrical systems.
        • Assist with and coordinate construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and/or testing activities that enable compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements, alert manager or PM of any potential concerns or issues.
        • Perform detailed calculations to compute and support recommended construction, and installation standards and specifications.
