Job Description

Our client, a data center construction and development, is seeking an Energy Marshal to join their team. As an Energy Marshal, you will be part of the project and safety oversight function supporting construction, commissioning, operations, and EHS teams. The ideal candidate will have strong safety leadership, attention to detail, and excellent coordination skills which will align successfully in the organization.

54/hr What's the Job? Provide independent oversight of the Energy Isolation (LOTO) program and validate contractor compliance with safety and regulatory standards Coordinate energy isolation activities across contractors, subcontractors, commissioning teams, and operations to minimize risk Review and verify procedures (MOPs, SOPs, and energy isolation plans) ensuring proper identification and control of hazardous energy Conduct field audits and ensure adherence to LOTO, permit-to-work systems, NFPA 70E, and OSHA requirements Serve as the owner's SME for electrical safety, supporting risk assessments, work authorization, and reporting on compliance and risk What's Needed? 7+ years of experience in electrical systems, power distribution (LV/MV/HV), or mission-critical/data center environments Strong expertise in Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), hazardous energy control, and electrical safety standards (NFPA 70E, OSHA) Experience reviewing procedures, risk assessments, and high-risk work activities Ability to oversee installation and energization of electrical equipment safely and effectively Ability to read and understand building one-line diagrams and review technical documentation What's in it for me?
