Job Description:

Insight Global is seeking a Dispatcher to support their team onsite in Baltimore, MD. This individual is responsible for overseeing daily dispatch operations and managing real-time Demand Response (DR) events across multiple energy markets. This role requires a seasoned professional capable of making critical, time-sensitive decisions independently during grid emergencies, while ensuring compliance with ISO directives. Key responsibilities include monitoring grid conditions and dispatch communications, maintaining detailed event logs and SOPs, coordinating offers to optimize revenue and reduce market risk, and leading a team through training, certification, and shift management. They will also serves as the primary contact during emergencies and mentors team members to ensure continuous 24/7 coverage and operational excellence.

Desired Skillset:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, science or any relevant degree Experience in the energy industry Skilled in multitasking, problem-solving, and working independently as well as experience managing a team Strong in spreadsheets, databases, and programming in VBA and Python Excellent communicator, detail-oriented, and proactive under pressure.

Compensation:

$60,000 to $80,000 per year annual salary. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role may include healthcare insurance offerings and paid leave as provided by applicable law.
