Job Description:
Renewable Energy Analyst & Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of Fulcrum3D products on solar and wind projects across the U.S. When not in the field, the Analyst will support equipment testing and programming, logistics, and provide customer service out of our Phoenix production facility. Our products include electro-mechanical equipment such as Met Stations (data loggers, pyranometers, soiling stations, weather sensors, etc), CloudCAM and Sodar units. This is a full-time, hybrid role that requires approximately 25% field work in remote locations and 75% office work at our Phoenix facility. The Analyst will adhere to, and implement, safe work practices of the solar and wind industry.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
Field Install, commission and service equipment on project sites Perform testing, troubleshooting and repairs on electrical and mechanical systems Document all field activities, prepare accurate reports and commissioning records Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and company/industry best practices Safely operate and care for company/client property, equipment, and tooling Identify and recommend process improvements and support implementation Production Facility & Office Assemble and test equipment, ensure Quality Control (QC), conduct visual inspections, conduct Factory Acceptance Tests Packaging and preparing equipment for deployment Preparing installation checklists and commissioning reports Support inventory management, logistics, and material handling Communicate with internal teams on supplies and project requirements
Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related STEM disciplines preferred High School Diploma, GED, Vocational and/or Technical School is required Minimum 2 years work experience is required Experience working in mechanical and/ or electrical environments Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems Familiarity with solar plant operations and testing equipment is a plus Workshop, assembly or fabrication experience is a plus NFPA 70e Safety Training, LO/TO, and QEW certification(s) are a plus Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions with high attention to detail Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability Proficiency in MS Office Positive attitude, self-motivated and reliable with the ability to work independently and on a team Valid U.S. driver's license and legal authorization to work in the U.S. are required
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks such as climbing, bending, and reaching Frequent work in outdoor and remote environments, including extreme weather conditions Ability to work at height or difficult-to-access areas

$65,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
