  • Full-time Bid Specialist Position Summary Next Generation Recreation is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bid Coordinator to help identify, prepare, and submit competitive bids for playground, park, and recreation projects throughout Missouri, Kansas, and Nebraska.
This position is responsible for monitoring public bid opportunities, gathering pricing and supporting documentation, assembling proposal packages, and ensuring all submissions are completed accurately and on time. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working with deadlines, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

No prior playground industry experience is required. We are willing to train the right person. Responsibilities Monitor public bid platforms, procurement websites, and construction reporting services for relevant opportunities. Review bid documents, specifications, and project requirements. Coordinate with internal staff and manufacturers to obtain pricing and supporting information. Assemble bid packages, proposals, and required documentation. Maintain bid calendars and submission deadlines. Submit proposals electronically and in hard-copy formats when required. Track bid results and maintain records within HubSpot CRM. Attend occasional pre-bid meetings when required. Assist with administrative tasks related to the bidding process. Transition awarded projects to the project management team. Qualifications Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Comfortable learning new software systems and processes. Professional written communication skills. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Preferred Qualifications

Experience using CRM software such as HubSpot. Experience working with public agencies, schools, municipalities, or construction-related businesses. Compensation Quarterly performance bonus based on awarded projects. Paid training provided. Full-time position.
