Position Overview Cinnamon Energy Systems has an immediate opening for an experienced HVAC Design Consultant with strong technical knowledge of high-efficiency heat pump systems and a proven ability to guide homeowners through the sales and design process. This role is ideal for a customer-focused professional who can evaluate homes, design effective comfort solutions, educate homeowners on electrification technologies, and deliver an exceptional customer experience from initial consultation through project handoff.
Responsibilities Include:
 Conduct in-home consultations, site surveys, and comfort assessments for residential HVAC retrofit projects.  Design and recommend high-efficiency heat pump, ducted, and ductless HVAC systems tailored to each homeowner's needs, goals, and budget.  Lead sales process from initial consultation through proposal development, contract execution, and project handoff.  Educate homeowners on HVAC, heat pump, and home electrification solutions, including system performance, energy savings, rebates, and financing options.  Prepare accurate proposals, scopes of work, and system recommendations while maintaining detailed project information within CRM software.  Collaborate closely with installation, engineering, and operations teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.  Develop & maintain relationships with homeowners, contractors, builders, and referral partners to support business growth.  Participate in ongoing training and consistently achieve individual and team sales objectives. Qualifications  Minimum 3-5 years of residential HVAC sales, design, estimating, or related industry experience.  Strong knowledge of high-efficiency heat pump, ducted, and ductless HVAC systems.  Proven ability to build customer relationships, communicate technical concepts, and close sales opportunities.  Experience conducting site surveys, developing system recommendations, and preparing customer proposals.  Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.  Self-motivated, professional, and capable of managing multiple projects and priorities.  Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.  Home Improvement Salesperson (HIS) Registration required or ability to obtain.  Experience with home electrification, solar, battery storage, or energy efficiency solutions is a plus.
