Full-time Join ChargerPro and Power the EV Revolution At ChargerPro , we're simplifying the process of home EV charger installation. As demand for electric vehicles grows, homeowners need a fast, transparent, and reliable way to get chargers installed—and that includes navigating permits and inspections. We're looking for a Permitting & Inspection Tech who can help scale our operations while ensuring full regulatory compliance across multiple markets. This role is responsible for managing all permitting requirements, coordinating inspections, and supporting our installer teams across our operating regions. It's perfect for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working at the intersection of operations and regulatory processes.Key Responsibilities Installation Scoping:
Work with customers to collect all required information for their project.Permit Management:
Coordinate the submission, tracking, and closeout of permits for residential EV charger installations across jurisdictions.Jurisdiction Research:
Identify local permitting and inspection requirements in new and existing markets; maintain an up-to-date knowledge base.Inspector Coordination:
Schedule and coordinate inspections between local building departments, customers, and installation teams. Travel to install sites and sit inspections as required.Installer Support:
Serve as the go-to resource for electricians and project managers when questions arise related to permits or inspections.Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of all permitting activity, inspection outcomes, and follow-up actions.Municipality Relationships:
Build relationships with permitting offices to help accelerate review timelines and resolve issues quickly.Customer Support :
Respond to customer inquiring (email, phone, SMS) in a timely and professional manner.Booking Support:
Engage inbound prospects on their project, provide quick and simple quotes and schedule their installations.What We're Looking For Highly Organized:

You're comfortable helping a customer work through an issue on the phone... or pitching in inbound prospect on work. Qualifications 2-5 years of experience in permitting, inspection coordination, field service operations, construction, or solar/home energy industries. Working knowledge of residential permitting processes, particularly in electrical or low-voltage work. Experience coordinating with AHJs (Authorities Having Jurisdiction) and local building departments is strongly preferred. Proficiency with tools like Google Workspace, project management software, and CRM systems . Ability to analyze permitting requirements across multiple jurisdictions and standardize them into scalable processes. Residential electrical experience a plus. Customer support and phone-based sales experience a plus. Based in Denver metro area. Remote candidates will not be considered. Why Join ChargerPro?
