As a locally owned and operated business, our reputation is built on unmatched customer service, exceptional product quality, and expert workmanship. We're seeking a Project Ambassador (PA) who thrives on communication, clarity, and customer satisfaction—someone who can bridge the gap between technical complexity and customer understanding . About the
Role:
The Project Ambassador (PA) plays a key role in shaping our customers' experience from contract to construction completion. This role is ideal for someone who excels in translating technical and engineering concepts into clear, relatable language (in person, in writing and via phone) for homeowners, and vice versa—ensuring alignment and confidence at every step. Solar experience is preferred but not required —what matters most is your ability to communicate effectively, stay organized, and work autonomously within a structured, process-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Communication & Experience (Primary Focus): Act as the primary point of contact for the customer throughout the project lifecycle. Translate complex solar and electrical concepts into easy-to-understand language for customers—and clearly communicate customer needs back to our technical teams. Respond promptly and professionally to all customer inquiries (within 24 hours). Deliver consistent updates to customers on project milestones, schedule changes, and next steps. Proactively monitor customer satisfaction and address any concerns with urgency and empathy. Conduct project wrap-up walkthroughs and guide customers through their post-installation documentation. Request and facilitate customer reviews and referrals to help grow our brand.
Pre-Design and Project Coordination:
Conduct thorough site surveys to ensure design feasibility and compliance with all AHJ and utility requirements. Organize and communicate survey findings to design and management teams. Update designs post-survey and collaborate with internal teams to find solutions to site-specific challenges. Stay informed on evolving code requirements (electrical, fire, structural, etc.).
Permitting & Administrative Support:
Complete and manage all permit applications and utility documentation. Maintain meticulous records of project status, permit progress, and customer files. Prepare installation packets and ensure all necessary documentation is available for the field team. Track project milestones and support timely billing and collections follow-ups.
What We're Looking For:
Exceptional communicator
  • skilled at adjusting language to suit technical teams, permit officials, or homeowners, in person, by phone and via email. All communication must be documented so written communication skills are required. Empathetic and customer-focused
  • you listen well, anticipate needs, and care deeply about delivering a great experience. Technically curious
  • you enjoy learning how things work and can retain and relay detailed information accurately. Highly organized and reliable
  • you thrive on structure and enjoy keeping things moving forward efficiently. Self-starter with respect for process
  • you take initiative but value following procedures that ensure quality and consistency. Team player
  • you support and collaborate with operations, sales, and field teams with positivity and flexibility.
Solar experience is a plus, but not required—we'll train the right communicator who's eager to learn. Why Join RevoluSun Idaho? Be part of a mission-driven company working toward a sustainable future. Work alongside a supportive, high-performing team that values growth, innovation, and integrity . Enjoy ongoing training and development in one of the fastest-growing industries in the country. Help shape the future of solar in Idaho while doing meaningful, customer-centered work every day. If you're ready to make a difference through clear communication, thoughtful coordination, and exceptional service— we'd love to hear from you.
