job summary: Looking for an Energy Solutions Engineer in Minneapolis, MN. Join Our Client, a top utility pioneering a net-zero future! We seek a problem-solver with 2-5 years of energy/DSM experience, strong engineering aptitude, and Excel/Python skills. Drive impactful energy savings today!
location:
Minneapolis, Minnesota job type: Contract salary: $27.89 - 39.61 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Review customer project submissions, evaluate data sufficiency, and execute detailed energy efficiency calculations to estimate savings and support rebate determinations.

Create, maintain, and utilize rigorous technical-financial models and calculators for prescriptive rebate programs using tools like Excel (VBA) and Python.

Provide expert technical assistance and daily support to account managers, customers, vendors, and Our Client's Marketing and Sales organizations.

Develop and maintain specialized knowledge in targeted technology areas (e.g., HVAC, lighting, compressed air) by collaborating with internal product managers and external networks of engineering firms and associations.

Meet established turnaround times for project analyses to foster customer participation while ensuring all work strictly adheres to state regulatory and corporate guidelines.
