Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Engineer I with Energy Efficiency and Retro-commissioning (RCx) experience. In this role, you will engage with our clients at a high level to assess their operations, identify opportunities, and provide recommendations to maximize energy efficiency and performance in industrial and/or commercial facilities. The Sr. Engineer I takes the lead to consult, gather data, create optimization models of industrial systems and write feasibility reports for energy efficiency projects, while leading overall management of projects. The Sr. Engineer I will also provide mentorship and contribute to peer support and quality control review. What You Will Be Doing Project leadership & delivery: Lead and manage high-profile energy projects, maintaining accountability and mentoring peers through technical discussions and work review. Energy analysis & savings calculations: Quantify energy savings from system/equipment changes using established tools, spreadsheets, and accepted methodologies. On-site client engagement & opportunity identification: Visit industrial facilities to understand operations, identify energy-efficiency opportunities, provide recommendations, and uncover new work with existing/new clients. Technical communication & stakeholder alignment: Present complex technical topics clearly to diverse audiences to build understanding and drive consensus. Data collection, reporting & program compliance: Collect/document performance data (including data logging), write energy-efficiency project reports, and maintain expertise in utility programs and compliance requirements.
