Our facility in Huntsville, AL has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer Senior to join our mission. In this role, you will support the NGI program with the following: Become the cost account manager (CAM) for the NGI Missile Systems Integration lab activities As the CAM, you will be responsible for maintaining/updating the IMS, collaborating with finance, developing VARs, and assessing headcount Support the development and execution of Program Reviews, Quarterly Reviews, Planning Meetings, Technical Director Reviews, Working Groups Facilitate internal reviews and approvals and prepare briefing packages for senior leadership and internal customers as required Support continuous-improvement initiatives for IPT processes, tooling and metrics (on-time delivery, defect density, rework). Coordinate the planning, organizing, control, integration, and completion of Engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility. Help develop timely resolution plans of issues, compliance evidence, and all associated documentation Help resolve systems engineering and program execution issues quickly to support leadership and customer needs General duties will include project management functions such as program planning, contract interpretation, and system integration, as well as cost and risk management.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (technical discipline preferred) or equivalent experience/combined education.
Prior project planning experience:
proposal, cost modeling, or operations. Experience writing, handling, organizing, and coordinating documentation/data Proficient with Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, Tableau, Alteryx or equivalent work flow programs Ability to become a CAM and manager a control account Ability to work in a team-oriented environment Must be a US citizen, will be subject to a government security investigation, and must meet eligibility requirements for a security clearance
Desired Skills:
Prior CAM experience of control accounts with greater than $10M EAC Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to work collaboratively with peers, customers, and supervisors and to build professional relationships. Basic project-coordination experience (e.g., creating task lists, maintaining schedules, tracking status) with exposure to formal project-management tools. Familiarity with the engineering lifecycle stages (system definition, design, build, test, and field deployment) through coursework, internships, or early-career assignments. Experience participating in cross-functional teams to help resolve technical questions and support problem-solving efforts. Some experience handling or tracking documentation/data under supervision, with an understanding of basic CUI/security protection and basic encryption principles. Ability to perform straightforward compliance checks against requirements and flag issues for review. Capability to assist technical leads and peers in tracking cost, schedule, and scope items and to provide clear status updates. Beginning to apply systems-thinking concepts; able to identify how a change in one area may affect others and suggest practical improvements.

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
