Titomic serves industries including aerospace, defense, energy, and industrial manufacturing, providing solutions for part production, repair, coating, and tooling. Role Overview Titomic seeks a Product Engineer that will play a critical role in transitioning advanced cold spray manufacturing technologies into U.S. based production. This position supports design activities, design updates, and qualification builds, ensuring products meet design-for-manufacture (DFM) and design-for-reliability (DFR) principles. The engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enable scalable, compliant, and customer-driven products aligned with regulatory requirements (Buy American, ITAR, EAR, and DoD). Core Responsibilities
- Assist in creating and updating product designs for cold spray manufacturing components and assemblies.
- Apply mechanical and electrical design engineering principles to ensure robust, integrated product designs.
- Perform DFM/DFA and DRM analyses to optimize designs for U.S. based production.
- Support engineering change management and documentation updates.
- Participate in qualification builds and ensure compliance with performance and reliability standards.
- Collaborate with quality and manufacturing teams to resolve design issues during prototype and production phases.
- Work with supply chain and manufacturing teams to enable local sourcing and factory ramp-up.
- Support regulatory compliance efforts (ITAR, EAR, Buy American Act, DoD requirements).
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and design optimization.
- Contribute to product lifecycle management and sustainment activities. Key Skills & Competencies
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field).
- Strong background in mechanical and electrical design engineering principles.
- Experience with DFM/DFA and DRM methodologies.
- Familiarity with PLM systems and CAD tools (SolidWorks, CATIA).
- Knowledge of electrical design tools (Altium Designer, AutoCAD Electrical).
- Ability to plan and manage project, tasks, resources, and budget.
- Knowledge and ability to operate in an ERP system.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- U.S. Citizenship required (due to ITAR and DoD compliance). Tools & Systems

MS Office Suite, SharePoint, Microsoft Project Success Metrics- Reduction in design-related issues during qualification builds.
- Percentage of designs meeting DFM/DFA standards on first pass.
- Zero non-conformances related to ITAR, EAR, Buy American, or DoD requirements.
- On-time delivery of design updates and support for production milestones.
- Contribution to cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality.
