$73,000 to $85,000Annualized Comp:

4+ years of experience in Quality Control for a large commercial construction project Ability to comprehend specifications, standards and corde requirements in all disciplines Technical proficiency in Prolog, Primavera, AutoCAD, and Excel Strong communication skills across internal and external stakeholders as well as third party vendors Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field/relevant work experienceDescription:
Coordinate daily with electrical subcontractors, the owner's inspection team, and relevant regulatory authorities to ensure all work complies with contract documents, specifications, and applicable codes and standards. Perform daily on-site pre-inspections of electrical installations to verify that testing and installation requirements are being met according to project specifications and quality standards through to completion. Collaborate with electrical subcontractors to resolve field-related issues promptly, ensuring timely communication and closure to maintain project schedule and quality benchmarks. Proactively identify field issues related to electrical systems, track deficiencies noted by regulatory authorities, verify completion of corrective actions through direct field checks, and maintain thorough documentation of resolutions and compliance. Participate in all phases of electrical system implementation, including startup, material verification, full installation, system testing, and inspections. Ensure all work aligns with contract documents, specifications, and applicable codes and standards. Submit daily reports to the Quality Control Manager detailing inspection activities, issue tracking and resolution status, coordination efforts with subcontractors and regulatory authorities, and overall compliance. Support and attend shop fabrication and inspection visits as needed to ensure electrical systems are fabricated in accordance with project specifications and quality standards before installation. Participate in the startup, final testing, and commissioning of electrical systems. Assist in implementing the six-step quality control and safety process for electrical work, including the site-specific quality program, quality control plan, quality process log, test register, and quality point files. Attend weekly quality control and trade partner foreman meetings as directed. Help develop preparatory meeting agendas and participate in meetings before starting any definable electrical work. Review and maintain the project's quality process log. Interface directly with the owner's quality assurance and management teams on all quality-related matters. Participate in all initial, follow-up, and close-in inspections for electrical work and compile or review associated reports. Maintain full awareness of the contract, plans, specifications, and applicable codes. Receive test and inspection requests from subcontractors and produce a coordinated schedule for these activities. Document and submit daily reports on quality control activities related to electrical work. Audit subcontractor quality control procedures for electrical work and report recurring issues to upper management. Participate in selecting third-party testing contractors and verify adherence to testing standards, frequency, and documentation. Coordinate testing activities with subcontractors and third-party agencies.Pay:
