You will be the Quality Engineering Associate Manager for the Program Quality Engineering team. Our team is responsible for delivering high‑performance missile hardware and launch‑vehicle systems that meet the toughest quality standards. What You Will Be Doing As the Quality Engineering Associate Manager you will be responsible for leading quality initiatives that ensure our missile hardware exceeds rigorous performance and reliability requirements. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Lead cross‑functional quality engineering initiatives to guarantee missile hardware meets stringent performance criteria. Drive continuous improvement of testing processes and validation methods. Mentor and develop a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. Partner with program management to align quality objectives with schedule and cost targets. Analyze root causes of defects and implement corrective actions to sustain product reliability. - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in science, technology, engineering or math; or equivalent education and experience Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance; and therefore must be a US Citizen Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools Advanced knowledge of quality systems, demonstrated use of standard problem solving, troubleshooting tools and root cause analysis skills Well versed in GD&T, interpreting drawings and standards Experienced in using various inspection measurement tools Ability to work with and around explosivesDesired Skills:
STEM degree at Bachelors level or higher preferred Manufacturing experience Knowledge of Aerospace standards:AS9100, AS9102, AS9103
Working knowledge of SAP Working knowledge of root cause and corrective action processes Experience in Six-Sigma green belt techniques and statistical process control methods Strong communication skills (both oral and written) Ability to work in a collaborative and team based environmentSecurity Clearance Statement:
