VP of Operations of CHawk Technology Position Summary:
The General Manager will provide leadership and direction ensuring optimal manufacturing, engineering, and quality processes. This includes implementing plant-wide development strategies, continuous improvement initiatives to support production planning, supply chain management, quality control measurements, providing P&L master plan, and organizational structures. Ensures company's compliance with safety regulations, SOPs, and product-specific orders; provides general training, cross-training, and employee development programs. In addition, the General Manager will Analyze internal operations and identify areas of process improvement. Responsible for all site operations, employee productivity and building a highly inclusive culture ensuring team members thrive. Key Responsibilities (but not limited to): Responsible for all GTI operations activities, including manufacturing, engineering, supply chain and quality activities Fully responsible for P&L performance Plan and establish yearly sales, profitability, on-time delivery, customer satisfaction and employee satisfaction objectives Lead management team to establish system to achieve company objectives. Perform Quarter Management Review for key members Collaborate with other sites to standardize and drive BKMs Establishes, implements, and communicates the strategic direction of the organization Collaborates with executive leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on operations projects and systems. Collaborates with other divisions and departments to carry out the organization's goals and objectives. Identifies, recommends, and implements new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources and materials. Ensures that departmental decisions and project plans such as those for staffing, development, organization, material efficiency, capital expenditures acquisitions, and facilities are in line with the organization's business plan and vision. Establishes, communicates, and implements operations-related policies, practices, standards, and security measures to ensure effective and consistent support and execution. Reviews and approves cost-control reports, cost estimates, and staffing requirements for projects. Establishes and administers the department's budget. Presents periodic performance reports and metrics to the chief executive officer and other leadership. Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in operations management. Identifies training needs and ensures proper training is developed and provided. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Essential Skills:
Experience in managing within a plating and manufacturing environment. Gold and Nickel plating experience. Demonstrated leadership capability in managing a small-sized manufacturing company. Possess strong managerial and financial analytical skills. Strong supervisory and leadership skills. Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Highly self-motivated, able to work in a fast-paced, and challenging manufacturing environment. Semiconductor manufacturing experience. Proficient in mechanical components and plating processes. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Excellent oral and written communication skills
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or other industry-related field required; MBA preferred. At least 10 years of industry-related experience including three years in upper management required. Preferred a minimum of five years of Plating experience or working in the semiconductor equipment space or other capital equipment contract manufacturing. Experience in a leadership role in a multi-plant international manufacturing company
