April 30, 2026 to May 31, 2026 The City of Irwindale is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Engineer to join our Public Works - Engineering team. In this role, you'll help plan, design, and deliver essential infrastructure projects that directly impact our community—streets, storm drains, sewer systems, traffic improvements, and more. Under direction, you will perform a variety of professional level engineering work and serve as a project manager on assigned projects. Key responsibilities will include performing professional-level civil engineering work on a variety of public works projects; serving as project manager for assigned engineering and infrastructure projects; reviewing plans, designs, and specifications and recommend changes to ensure compliance with City and professional standards; act as a key point of contact, responding to questions from the public, developers, contractors, engineers, and City staff; and helping guide engineering and development projects from concept to completion.
