Engineering Manager - San Francisco, CA A fast-growing AI startup building voice and communication infrastructure for enterprise financial services is looking for a highly technical Engineering Manager to lead and scale a high-performing engineering team building real-time AI systems at scale. What Will I Be Doing? Leading and developing a high-performing engineering team through hiring, mentorship, and performance management Remaining hands-on technically by contributing code, driving architecture decisions, and supporting incident response Partnering closely with leadership on technical strategy, team scaling, and engineering execution Owning engineering operations including KPIs, 1:1s, performance reviews, and delivery metrics Driving compliance and security initiatives across regulated enterprise environments
What We're Looking For:
Experience leading engineering teams through rapid growth and scaling Strong technical background with the ability to contribute as an individual contributor when needed Experience managing backend, infrastructure, or distributed systems teams Strong communication, leadership, and team development skills What's In It For Me?
