This position offers a unique opportunity to combine technical depth with program management skills and executive exposure. Description Home HW EPM is responsible for leading a broad cross-functional team in developing Home hardware products, leveraging a solid engineering background to recognize, assess, and communicate cross-functional issues and risks. Maintain good communication and provide multiple levels of status to individual contributors and executive management.","responsibilities":"Drive planning and execution of product prototype builds, including materials planning and factory readiness Own system-level flexes and boards: manage the internal design review process and release to vendors, review design changes with cross-functional teams, manage vendors and materials, and drive overall schedule for on-time delivery to final assembly Establish daily build schedules and distribution plans to support the overall project plan for in-region and local builds Partner closely with cross-functional teams to understand key design changes requiring validation and accurately integrate engineering validation needs into the system build matrix Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and drive resolution of technical build blockers with cross-functional stakeholders Provide timely, clear executive-level reporting on build progress and critical path status Partner with Contract Manufacturer (CM) partners for the program, managing factory build events and vendor relationships Preferred Qualifications Strong technical background in EE or ME Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and leadership skills Ability to manage complex build matrices and detailed build planning schedules Superior attention to detail with a strong commitment to rigor and excellence Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities Understands and deals well with rapid development cycles and constant change; remains flexible and calm in the face of uncertainty Experience interfacing with cross-functional teams including Systems Engineering, Mechanical design, Software/Firmware, Reliability, and Operations. Ability to travel internationally to support build events Minimum Qualifications BS degree in Engineering required; Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred 3+ years of experience in hardware engineering or operations program management Proven ability to effectively manage factory build events and vendor relationships ","internalDetails":null Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $141,800 and $258,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
