We're seeking an exceptional manager who can develop talent, drive operational excellence, and foster a culture of innovation. We're looking for a leader who excels at building high-performing teams of Engineering Project Managers and Engineering Program Specialists while ensuring the software that enables Apple's software delivery is supported flawlessly. Description Lead and develop a team of Engineering Project Managers and Engineering Program Specialists responsible for train bring-up processes, build management, and submission integration across Apple's software portfolio. Partner with cross-functional leadership to establish strategic priorities, drive organizational improvements, and ensure your team delivers exceptional results. Foster a collaborative environment that empowers team members to grow their careers while maintaining the highest standards of quality and reliability in Apple's software development pipeline.

This role requires a leader who can balance technical depth with people management excellence, someone who can scale teams and processes while maintaining a personal touch for growth and development. You'll be instrumental in shaping how Apple enables engineering teams to deliver software experiences that delight customers worldwide. Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Engineering Project Managers and Engineering Program Specialists Drive strategic planning and resource allocation for train management and integration operations Establish and continuously improve processes for build management and code integration Partner with engineering leadership to identify risks, resolve escalations, and ensure successful software launches Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team Coordinate cross-functional initiatives and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across Apple Develop team capabilities through coaching, performance management, and career development planning Ensure operational excellence while driving initiatives to enhance developer experience and build reliability Lead organizational change management during periods of growth and process evolution Minimum Qualifications BS/MS EE/CS/CE or equivalent 5+ years of management experience with demonstrated success leading project management or technical operations teams Strong background in software development, build systems, or release engineering Proven track record of scaling teams and processes in fast-paced technology environments Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications Experience managing teams involved in build and release engineering or release management Deep understanding of software development lifecycle and project management methodologies Unix programming/scripting experience and technical systems knowledge Demonstrated ability to develop talent and build inclusive, high-performing teams Experience with process improvement and organizational transformation initiatives Strong strategic thinking with ability to balance short-term execution with long-term vision Track record of successful cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $208,400 and $313,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses — including tuition. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments as well as relocation.
