In this role, you'll lead planning, execution, and cross-functional coordination across engineering teams to deliver robust, high-performance ML systems that operate across Apple's cloud and distributed environments. You'll help define and run processes that ensure the timely delivery of GPU, compute, and data infrastructure components that support large-scale ML workloads. We are looking for an energetic and motivated individual with strong communication, organizational, and technical skills who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Description We're looking for a strong Engineering Program Manager with a proven record of building andmaintaining complex software platforms, tools, and processes that deliver new end-to-end experiences on-device. You will partner with teams across Apple and deliver some of the most ambitious capabilities for executing AI/ML features on scalable distributed systems, and ensuring reliability, scalability, and efficiency of ML pipelines and services. We want to talk to you! Minimum Qualifications 5-10+ years of program management experience in software, hardware, or systems engineering environments. Strong technical acumen and the ability to align teams around architecture, milestones, and execution plans. Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership skills. Prior PM or engineering experience in AI/ML model training, high-performance distributed computing, or inference optimization technologies Experience with silicon acceleration and compute frameworks Self-motivated, independent, and proactive; demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities; can quickly (real-time) triage, prioritize, and lead cross-functional teams under pressure Preferred Qualifications BS/MS (EE/CS/CE), or a related technical field. Background in
CPU, GPU
(Graphics HW, Graphics APIs like Metal) or exposure to Display technologies(eg: Color, HDR,..) experience is a strong plus Experience with distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and ML frameworks Experience leading multi-functional teams to develop and deploy GPU-accelerated AI/ML solutions across Apple's product ecosystem. Experience driving graphics/compute API and software/hardware feature development lifecycles from concept through launch, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery. Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $141,800 and $258,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
