Vice President, Automotive & Embedded Products and Systems (AEBU) The Vice President, Automotive & Embedded Products and Systems, leads the end-to-end product portfolio, roadmap, and systems strategy for Micron's Automotive & Embedded Business Unit (AEBU). This is a high-impact executive leadership role accountable for product definition, lifecycle management, portfolio optimization, and cross-functional execution—ensuring competitive differentiation, cost leadership, and sustainable profitable growth across automotive, industrial, and emerging embedded markets. The role operates at the intersection of product marketing, engineering, sales, operations, and corporate strategy, translating customer and ecosystem requirements into scalable, high-impact product roadmaps spanning DRAM, NAND, SSD, and system-level solutions. As a senior member of the AEBU leadership team, this executive will shape the long-term direction of one of the semiconductor industry's most exciting and fastest-growing markets, while building and developing a world-class global organization of product, systems, and technical leaders. This is a key opportunity to drive meaningful influence at the convergence of Edge and Physical AI transformation in Autonomous Driving, Robotics, Augmented Reality, and next-generation memory and storage innovation. Key Responsibilities- Product & Portfolio Leadership
- Lead a global team responsible for AEBU product and systems portfolio development across automotive and embedded DRAM, NAND, SSD, and system-level solutions.
- Optimize the product portfolio to maximize profitability and deliver high value solutions for our customers and long-term business.
- Own product strategy, multi‑generation roadmaps, and overall product management responsibility from definition through development (Stage Gates), high‑volume production (HVM), and end of life (EOL).
- Drive portfolio optimization and simplification, including roadmap tradeoffs, SKU rationalization, and node strategy alignment to improve execution efficiency and cost structure.
- Translate customer, regulatory, and functional safety requirements into scalable and differentiated product and system solutions.
- Regularly engage with the CEO Staff and technology development organization executives to align on roadmaps, requirements, and resourcing.
- Market & Customer Engagement
- Senior executive interface for key automotive OEMs, Tier‑1s, and embedded customers, providing product roadmap alignment and long‑term platform vision.
- Lead a global team of product line and systems architecture experts in communicating the product value proposition and adoption of customer-valued features.
- Identify market opportunities and contribute to TAM assessment, segmentation, and platform strategy in partnership with Segment Marketing and Sales.
- Provide product evangelism internally and externally, reinforcing Micron's leadership and differentiation in automotive and embedded markets.
- Engage with ecosystem partners and standards bodies as required to ensure roadmap alignment and influence future direction.
- Cross‑Functional Execution
- Work closely with Engineering, Global Quality, Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure roadmap feasibility and disciplined execution.
- Optimize return on investment and ensure strong execution in the delivery of both product performance, capability, and timing aligns with strategic business opportunities.
- Drive system‑level thinking by aligning component roadmaps with software enablement, validation, qualification, and customer integration needs.
- Leadership & Organizational Impact
- Lead and develop a global organization of product, systems, and technical leaders operating in a highly matrixed environment.
- Invest in people development, build strong succession pipelines, and support critical talent acquisition and retention.
- Critical member of the AEBU leadership team, shaping overall business direction, priorities, and execution models.
- Operate with executive judgment, influencing outcomes and driving alignment across functions at the highest levels of the organization. Qualifications
- Required
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field (Master's preferred).
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in the semiconductor industry, with deep exposure to product management, portfolio strategy, or systems leadership.
- Strong understanding of memory and storage technologies, automotive quality and qualification requirements, and long product lifecycles.
- Proven ability to influence and lead across global, matrixed organizations.
- Executive presence with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred
- Experience supporting businesses with $B‑scale revenue portfolios.
- Prior experience working directly with automotive OEMs and Tier‑1 suppliers.
- Track record of driving roadmap transformation, portfolio tradeoffs, and execution discipline.
- Demonstrated success building and leading senior technical teams across regions.
- Leadership Profile

- Strategic, systems‑oriented thinker with the ability to balance long‑term innovation and near‑term execution.
