Job Summary:
Client is looking for Silicon Technical Program Management team is looking for a detail-oriented, high-energy Technical Program Manager to drive Silicon development programs. This role will require a self-driven individual with outstanding communication skills to manage Silicon and Hardware vendors to deliver material for complex builds on schedule. This position will work with cross-functional teams to consolidate internal material requirements and communicate them with vendor partners. Responsibilities Manage Silicon vendors to deliver material for Engineering prototype builds. Create Engineering build matrix, schedules, and scope; drive vendors to meet delivery commitments. Collaborate with Engineering leads to resolve technical, material, and schedule issues and drive mitigation strategies. Scope change requests and drive teams through approval/rejection processes. Drive communication between internal and external teams; establish communication infrastructure using Jira, GDrive, and other collaboration tools. Lead weekly meetings, create agendas, and document meeting minutes. Manage internal and external documentation including Engineering Requirement Specifications, Bill of Materials (BOM), and design collateral. Track Engineering budget spend and ensure alignment with forecasts. Work with legal and business teams to ensure proper TPA/NDA agreements are in place for new vendors. Manage silicon material builds supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) programs. Track wafers and silicon material from foundry through downstream validation teams. Partner with engineering teams to develop sample forecasts and material plans. Drive vendors to deliver requested material in a timely manner. Ensure smooth material flow to support validation requirements and program schedules. Report and maintain delivery schedules, build matrices, and material status. Manage and resolve critical issues related to engineering changes, material shortages, and schedule slips. Investigate and communicate material blockers and risks. Support material allocation decisions during shortages. Anticipate potential issues and proactively drive mitigation plans. Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external vendor partners. Host, attend, and present at meetings with engineering teams and vendors. Assist with Purchase Order (PO) generation, approvals, and invoice tracking. Ensure PO deliverables are completed and vendor invoices are processed on time. Assist with lab equipment delivery and setup activities. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of relevant experience. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to drive cross-functional teams. Strong technical understanding of silicon development processes including ASIC design, RTL, physical design, analog and digital design fundamentals. Direct experience managing external vendors and supplier relationships. Experience tracking and managing complex programs involving multiple stakeholders. Strong project management and program tracking experience using tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar platforms. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to react quickly to changing priorities and business needs. Experience collaborating with global teams and vendors across Asia and Europe time zones. Self-starter who can work effectively in ambiguous environments. Experience with Google Workspace tools (Sheets, Docs, Slides, Drive). Preferred Qualifications Hardware or Silicon material management experience. Semiconductor industry experience. New Product Introduction (NPI) experience. Experience with Meta or other large technology companies. Budget management, procurement, and PO management experience. Must-Have Skills Technical understanding of silicon design flows, including ASIC design, RTL, physical design, analog and digital design fundamentals. Direct vendor engagement and management experience, specifically with external design or silicon vendors. Strong program tracking and cross-functional coordination experience using tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar platforms. Nice-to-Have Skills Meta or Big Tech experience. Silicon material management experience. New Product Introduction (NPI) or hardware development experience.
