Compensation $150000 - $225000 / year Position Summary The OCS Engineer is responsible in managing the Overhead Contact System (OCS) scope from design through construction, testing and commissioning of the project. Primary/Essential Responsibilities and Duties + Manage OCS scope, design, procurement, installation, and testing to meet project and customer requirements. + Oversee OCS subcontractors, billings, change proposals, and project closeout documentation. + Support Construction Managers with installation plans, drawings, and QA/QC compliance. + Ensure timely procurement and delivery of OCS and Traction Power equipment. + Manage testing, commissioning, and integrated systems testing. + Maintain strong relationships with owners, contractors, and subcontractors. + Promote team discipline, morale, and collaboration. Required Skills and Qualifications + 5-10 years' experience in rail projects, Signal/Train Control required. + Electrical PE preferred; knowledge of current electrical codes and standards. + Thorough understanding of Signal/Train Control systems used in transit. + Proficient in Microsoft Office; CADD experience preferred. + Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. + Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines. + Analytical, creative problem-solving abilities; transparent communicator.
