Full Job Description Overview:
Kimley-Horn's Oakland office is seeking a Project Manager with 8+ years of experience to join their Transportation team! This is not a remote position.
Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will contribute to the production and delivery of transit and transportation planning projects, which may include several of the following areas: Corridor Planning General Plans, Specific Plans, or Precise Plans Short-Range Transit Plans Active Transportation Plans Mulitmodal Concept Design Transit Operations and Performance Analysis Traffic and Bicycle/Pedestrian Analysis Proficiency in analysis of transportation data Specific responsibilities will include but are not limited to short
  • and long-range transportation planning, overseeing public and stakeholder engagement activities, and conducting detailed technical analyses.
This role demands a high level of multi-disciplinary coordination, requiring the candidate to seamlessly integrate efforts across various teams and specialties. Exceptional communication and organizational skills are essential to ensure successful project outcomes and client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
8+ years of transportation-focused planning experience Bachelors or Masters from an ABET accredited university in the field of Civil Engineering, City or Urban Planning, or a related field. CA Professional Engineer License preferred (or ability to obtain within 12 months) Experience communicating and working with clients Experience managing projects and tasks Experience interacting with the public as part of project outreach activities Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills and detail-orientation Ability to balance priorities among multiple projects
Salary Range:
$135,000 to $175,000
