Our equipment has been installed in numerous applications for the chemical, oil/gas, power generation, and materials processing industries. Our business reach is global with particular focus on projects in the Americas, East Asia, and the Middle East. All design work is performed internally within the company. Our professional staff includes chemical, mechanical, electrical, and structural engineers. We also operate our own manufacturing facilities, which are capable of pipe welding, pressure vessel fabrication, ductwork fabrication, and instrument and controls integration. Job Description EnviroKinetics is seeking a highly-motivated engineer to join our projects team. The successful applicant will be involved primarily in project execution and design implementation. The applicant will directly interact with customers, internal designers, and other project managers to develop projects out of the preliminary design phase into complete, operational, systems. This will require reviewing and analyzing specifications, evaluating design trade-offs, preparing technical documentation and drawings, and maintaining project organization. This is a fast-paced position where most projects last less than one-year and multiple projects will run simultaneously. Responsibilities Interacting with our project development team to identify project scope and requirements Performing design calculations and making decisions based on engineering principles Working with internal managers to schedule design and fabrication activities Collaborating with quality control personnel to prevent and resolve non-conformances Evaluating and selecting suppliers based on technical and commercial merit Supporting sales and project development teams with project design reviews Preparing technical documentation and drawings for customers and sub-contractors Communicating project status and progress to corporate management and customers Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience Entry level to 5 years of industry experience Ability to independently establish goals and schedules Experience with Microsoft Office Ability to communicate effectively with others both inside and outside the organization Willingness to travel 10% of the year Preferred Qualifications B.S. Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Electrical Engineering Experience with 2D and 3D CAD models: AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks Engineer In Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) certification Experience with commercial or industrial manufacturing and fabrication Experience resolving conflicts between engineering disciplines, suppliers, and customers Programming experience: Excel VBA, Python, Java, C# Job Highlights Participation in a growing small business with excellent opportunity for career advancement Compensation package includes salary, performance bonus, 401K contribution, health and dental benefits Travel opportunities to domestic and foreign project locations Participation in the employee stock ownership plan (ESOP).
