Birdi Systems, Inc. (BSI) is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead complex electrical construction and infrastructure projects across large-scale commercial, transportation, and critical infrastructure environments. We are looking for a hands-on construction leader with strong field experience, proven project management capabilities, and the ability to drive projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and can effectively manage field operations, subcontractors, schedules, budgets, and client relationships. What You'll Do:
Manage electrical construction projects from kickoff through completion Oversee project scope, schedules, budgets, procurement, and execution Lead field teams performing conduit installation, wire pulling, power distribution, and system installation Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and other trades Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, daily reports, and project documentation Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and California building codes Conduct QA/QC inspections, testing, and project closeout activities Support material planning, equipment logistics, and workforce coordination Provide regular project updates to internal leadership and clients What You Bring:
5-10+ years of electrical construction project management experience Strong electrical field/construction background Experience managing active job sites and field crews Knowledge of:
Power distribution systems EMT, RMC, GRC, and PVC conduit installation Underground and above-ceiling conduit systems Electrical construction best practices and safety standards Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications:
Journeyman or Master Electrician certification preferred Experience with aviation, transportation, infrastructure, or government projects Familiarity with low-voltage systems, BMS, or SCADA systems Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction management tools OSHA 30 Certification preferred Why Join Birdi Systems?
