Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Industrial Engineering Manager to lead process planning and industrial engineering activities across our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for driving process improvements, and fostering a culture of operational excellence and positive employee relations. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical expertise, and a passion for continuous improvement in a complex manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all production-related engineering activities including equipment layout, workflow design, and safety measures. Implement Siemens industrial engineering standards, methods, and tools across the site. Plan and monitor IE budgets and ensure adherence to financial targets. Drive simultaneous engineering to reduce development timelines and enhance alignment between production and product development. Ensure manufacturability and testability in product design and optimize manufacturing and test solutions. Analyze manufacturing and logistics processes to identify and implement improvement initiatives. Lead technical inspections and investigations to ensure compliance and quality. Demonstrate strong leadership skills, including fostering positive employee relations Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across the IE team. Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, Project Management, and Supply Chain teams. Develop and mentor team members and support career development. What you will need to be successful in this role: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred. 5+ years of experience in industrial engineering or process planning in a manufacturing environment. Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams and driving process improvements. Strong understanding of engineer-to-order manufacturing and lean principles. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in SAP and other manufacturing systems. Why you'll love working for Siemens! The pay range for this position is $146,472 -$172,380 and the annual incentive target is 15% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
