Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sr. Technology Designer / Technology Project Manager to join a growing multidisciplinary engineering team in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry. This role involves designing and managing technology systems across multiple projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and engineer systems including telecommunications, electronic security, audiovisual, network, Wi-Fi, and related technologies Prepare drawings, specifications, contract documents, and design calculations using AutoCAD and Revit Conduct job site inspections to assess project progress and existing conditions Manage multiple projects (10+ simultaneously) and ensure timely delivery Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders on project requirements Research technical product information and ensure compliance with codes and standards Support team development, process improvements, and knowledge sharing

Required Qualifications:

5 15 years of experience in Technology Engineering / Project Management Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam Studio Experience handling full project lifecycle (Schematic Design to Close-Out) Strong knowledge of California Building Codes and National Electrical Code (NEC) Excellent communication and time management skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in a similar role EIT/PE License or progress toward certification RCDD or CSI (CDT) certification Experience with security systems, audiovisual systems, DAS, Wi-Fi, and related technologies Experience working with government agency requirements Mentorship experience and leadership capabilities
