Job Description

Executive Director, EHS Services (National) This is a senior leadership role for someone who wants to own, scale, and shape a national EHS and emergency response platform within a fast-growing environmental firm. You'll step into a business that already has strong momentum and take it to the next level-driving strategy, building out teams, expanding key client relationships, and ensuring consistent execution across regions. This role blends operations, business development, and leadership at a high level. What You'll Be Doing Own and grow a national EHS platform Lead strategy and execution for emergency response, large-loss projects, and remediation services across the U.S. Drive business performance Take full ownership of P&L, including revenue growth, margins, and overall financial performance Expand key client relationships Act as a senior face to clients, helping secure and grow national accounts while strengthening long-term partnerships Build and scale teams Lead, mentor, and expand regional leadership and technical teams to support national growth and rapid response capabilities Create operational consistency Align teams, processes, and delivery standards across regions to ensure high-quality execution and client satisfaction Partner across the business Work closely with sales, technical teams, and local leadership to drive cross-selling and new market opportunities Stay close to the work Provide guidance on complex projects involving IH, asbestos, lead, mold, and remediation construction What They're Looking For ~10+ years in environmental consulting, EHS, or remediation construction Strong leadership background with direct P&L ownership Experience leading multi-region or national operations Track record managing large-scale projects ($1M+) and growing teams Comfortable balancing strategy, operations, and client-facing work Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, build-and-grow environment Why This Role Stands Out You're not inheriting a static business-you're building something bigger You'll have real influence over how the platform scales nationally Strong backing, resources, and existing client base to accelerate growth The work is high-impact, both operationally and financially Compensation $160K•215K base + performance bonus Full benefits package and long-term growth opportunity Get job alerts Share Copied to clipboard Related roles Air Quality Principal
