Job Description

We're partnering with our client, a bridge fabrication and installation company, to find a talented Chief Engineer. This permanent role is based in Shafter, CA, requiring onsite work. The company specializes in pre-fab concrete and steel bridges. The position offers a salary range of $150,000 to $165,000 and requires an active principal engineer license.
Chief Engineer Responsibilities:
Lead engineering projects involving pre-fabricated bridges, ensuring design and structural integrity. Oversee installation activities at job sites, coordinating with field teams. Manage compliance with safety, quality, and technical standards. Collaborate with project managers to meet project timelines and budgets. Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout project phases.
Chief Engineer Qualifications:
Valid principal engineer license is mandatory. Proven experience in bridge engineering or structural design. Ability to coordinate on-site project activities effectively. Strong problem-solving and leadership skills. Available to start as soon as possible, ideally by end of June or July.
