$150K We have an immediate opportunity for a Product Engineering Manager
  • Softgoods Design & Manufacturing and this consultants leads end-to-end development execution for softgoods products, driving programs from concept through prototype builds to completion.
This role sits at the intersection of engineering, operations, and supply chain, owning build planning, schedule coordination, material readiness, and vendor alignment to ensure products are delivered on time, within scope, and to quality standards. The manager oversees key development deliverables such as build schedules, BOMs, and entry/exit criteria, while ensuring readiness across materials, tooling, documentation, and resources. They also coordinate closely with cross-functional teams—including product development, design engineering, testing, operations, and supply chain—to maintain alignment on milestones, risks, and deliverables in a fast-paced environment. In addition, the role manages material sourcing, inventory tracking, and supply chain readiness, ensuring MIH/TIH targets are met to support build timelines. It involves vendor and financial oversight, including quotations, purchase orders, invoicing, and cost tracking, while serving as a key interface between engineering teams and manufacturing partners. The manager also handles prototype logistics, packaging readiness, and shipment tracking, while driving issue resolution and risk mitigation across engineering, quality, and supply chain domains. Close collaboration with OEM partners and onsite facility teams ensures smooth execution of development builds, while maintaining compliance in material handling and disposal. This position requires strong program management experience, cross-functional leadership, and preferably expertise in softgoods development and global manufacturing environments.
