Job Description

Job Description The National Quality Leader serves as DPR's core construction champion, responsible for ensuring work is built correctly the first time and that every project delivers predictable, durable outcomes. Provides enterprise leadership for quality across the company to ensure consistent execution, predictable outcomes, and long-term operational excellence. Establishes and evolves the company-wide vision, governance, and systems, embedding quality expectations into planning, execution and learning across all regions and business units. Partners with executive and functional leadership to integrate quality as a core component of how work is delivered. Informs and partners with technology leadership to support the quality, vision, and process and ensure effective systems and tools are in place. Key Responsibilities Establishes, leads, and continuously evolves DPR's enterprise-wide quality vision, ensuring alignment with company goals and construction best practices Embeds quality expectations into daily planning, execution, verification, and continuous learning processes across all regions and business units. Develops and governs company-wide quality systems, processes, tools and performance metrics that support consistent execution Partners with operations, field leadership, and functional teams to embed quality practices across all phases of project delivery, ensuring adoption of established processes on projects and continuously refining Best Builder Framework practices. Provides leadership direction to regional quality directors and senior leaders to ensure consistency and scalability Engages directly with project teams, providing real-time coaching and demonstrating how leaders should observe work, assess risk, and reinforce quality behaviors. Reviews enterprise quality performance data to identify trends, address systemic risks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives, and establishes new performance measures as needed based on enterprise results. Represents the organization internally and externally on matters related to quality, industry engagement and best practices Travel 50
  • 70% to jobsites based on project need and timing Education and Experience Education Qualifications Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
Work Experience 15+ years of experience across all project phases in construction, including operations, pursuits, leading planning and scheduling practices for large, complex projects at scale required. Demonstrated success building and scaling systems, processes, and performance metrics. Experience in design, early planning, and quality management preferred. Strong communication, facilitation, and coaching experience across diverse teams and stakeholder groups preferred.
