The FBM Program is experiencing significant growth and we need your expertise to deliver amazing new technologies to our customers while maintaining the technical requirements of the strategic deterrence. Learn about the Trident II D5 Fleet Ballistic Missile. This role will offer you the following daily challenges: Join us as a Project Engineer, Staff for the FBM Avionics Team where you will be involved in planning and executing avionics work scope and program execution. Key activities you will accomplish in this role: Responsible for overall accuracy of staffing data and performance
  • Update and maintain Accurate Demand Signal including maintaining critical talent list Responsible for leading the fulfillment strategy for meeting the staffing needs of the Avionivs directorate
  • Maintain directorate staffing strategy projections for planned allocations (intern conversions, internal transfers, upskilling, contract labor conversions, etc.) Responsible for driving actions to closure on reqs in a timely manner Support regular staffing business rhythms
  • provide regular status on Directorate staffing needs to Program Collaborate and facilitate Directorate leadership engagement in related staffing events/initiatives Directorate-level staffing/seating coordination and EVM analysis.
Resource and assignment planning and reporting. Business rhythm management and conduct. This position does not support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility one of the Coolest places to work: Denver, Colorado (opens in new window) (opens in new window) .
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree and 5+ years professional experience, or equivalent experience/combined education. Project management experience in resource planning/allocation. Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance; thus a US Citizen.
Desired Skills:
Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM discipline. Experience in resource planning tools such as VEMO. Prior project management experience and Control Account Management (CAM) experience. Knowledge of program lifecycle and how early achievements may drive future costs. Missile or space segment design and test experience with one or more subsystems or fields outside of Systems Engineering. Experience in Business Rhythm creation and management experience.

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500
  • $184,115.
For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
