Role:
We are seeking an experienced Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) Associate Manager (Level 4) who will perform both technical execution scope and functional manager responsibilities within the Theater Strike Weapon Systems (TSWS) and Strategic Missile Defense (SMD) portfolios. Anchored by the Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) program, the portfolio is undergoing rapid growth associated with multiple product lifecycle phases within CPS and several peer development program efforts. In this role, you should anticipate:
- Working on advanced missile design, integration, testing, and analysis within a hypersonic weapon system program
- Leveraging past experience in weapon system and missile system/subsystem development and analysis to shape current and future program execution
- Collaborating with program managers, systems and software engineering or engineering leaders to delivery component(s)/subsystem(s), designs, and analysis to programs
- Provides programmatic direction to engineering staff and team(s), collaborates on execution, analysis, design/peer reviews
- Applying proficiency in C++ and MATLAB to develop, verify, validate, and perform analysis, review analysis artifacts of others, assess data products, and delivery technical summary briefings
- Communicating technical results effectively and working collaboratively across teams, working groups, review boards, and technical execution teams
- Support Agile execution of programs and projects through proposals, planning/backlog development, product ownership, and staffing coordination Job Responsibilities will include:
- Develop and review data packages, analysis, and presentations for working groups, review board
- Coordinate internal efforts and external elements to develop, verify, and validate both complex simulations such as missile 6-degree-of-freedom simulations (6-DOF) and onboard flight algorithms to achieve weapon system performance
- Evaluate system performance in complex scenarios and environments and verify system and subsystem level requirements
- Perform and align staff execution for critical studies, analyses, and test activities
- Support program reviews and technical interchange meetings with internal leadership and/or external customers.
Successful applicants generally have at least 9+ years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline, such as Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

- B.S. or M.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Working knowledge of basic GNC related to weapons systems, GNC hardware products, GNC systems, advance modeling and simulation, and hardware-in-the-loop or hardware integration testing.
- Current/Previous experience working with national team partner and/or subcontractor development, including build, test, and integration of hardware or software
- Previous experience presenting to senior management, as well as, customer team members through technical and program reviews.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, especially engineers with diverse backgrounds across multiple geographic locations.
- Leadership skills and behaviors that align with Full Spectrum leadership (FSL) imperatives.
- Ability to travel to support job duties listed above.

- Interim Secret clearance is required to start employment.

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $123,500 - $217,695. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
