Servtech, A Roeslein Company, is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead our team in manufacturing products for the energy, mining, industrial power, and Integrated bio-energy markets. This role is critical to ensure that our work is produced in a safe workplace to our high standards of quality and within project budgets. As a key member of the leadership team, this position requires a proven track record in growing teams, streamlining operations, and driving innovation in product design and manufacturing. The Engineering Manager will support management and cross‑functional teams by leading, developing, and continually improving the engineering and design group to deliver all engineering, design, procurement, drafting, and product lifecycle activities for large‑scale manufactured industrial equipment.Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Champions Servtech/Roeslein & Associates' core values and company standards for the safe and efficient operation of our business with customers and employees. Strategically leads a team of engineers as well as and contributes individually. Develops new standard operating procedures and continually review existing SOPs to find operational efficiencies. Creates processes and metrics to measure compliance with design, engineering and production to ensure that Servtech quality standards meets industry regulatory requirements. Leads the Engineering team in troubleshooting issues that can impact product delivery dates. Manages the engineering and design schedule. Selects and sizes equipment for fluid handling systems such as pumps, piping, valves, and instrumentation for inclusion of engineered product design. Acts as project manager on key accounts as required. Reviews / creates project proposals that accurately depict Servtech's offerings. Oversees the Design team that creates 3D SolidWorks layouts (general arrangements), P&IDs, structural drawings, mechanical assembly drawings, and others as needed to support the production floor. Directs Final Reviews of mechanical and electrical manufacturing drawings from the drafting department for accuracy and intended function based on project design. Manages material take-offs for purchase of all materials required for fabrication and installation of Roeslein provided prefabricated and unitized systems. Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications:
SKILL / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITY / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or technical engineering, math, or science is required. 8 plus years of experience in engineering design and project management is required. 5 plus years of experience in a management role is preferred. SolidWorks and AutoCAD, 3D, 2D
drafting experience required 8 plus years of O&G surface equipment design experience is required. PE Licensure is preferred. Full Job description is available if requestedWORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed in an office and uncontrolled atmosphere. Exposure to harsh conditions—such as: dust, fumes, chemicals, hazardous materials, noise, and varying weather and temperatures—for short periods of time is possible.
